A little further away for a better view. I found a discarded black rubber industrial floor mat on the street and cut it in half. Done with Photoshop 5.5. I’ve forgotten exactly how I did this however, no edited images were used. Done totally in 2D program with filters, effects, distortions, hues, contrasting, colors and masking. The water droplets were “plastic wrap” and gradient work finished with lighting effects (spotlight). There are magazines that show you how to do this now with a 2D graphics app, but I did this in 1992. As proof, I still have the original PSD file. The gold signature at bottom was the only thing I used a 3D app for and it was done with Swift 3D.

I knew I had the original file laying around here somewhere. It was zipped up in an archive within an archive AND, password protected. What was I thinking way back in 1992??

Done with Swift 3D, Adobe Flash and Adobe Photoshop 5.5. An artist out of San Quentin said that “Now that looks like a mess.” I did it to impress a girl who shall remain nameless (chuckle), but she preferred a guy who wouldn’t give her the time of day.

Jailhouse envelope designs that certain gang members liked, they paid me but I was not a member. Done in Santa Rita Jail, Dublin CA.

A CD case I did for a friend and classmate at Cypress Mandela Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program, Oakland, California. Her name was Shamaria. She later went into the Marines at Paris Island. All Technical pen line drawing and stippling.

Shamaria is the pretty girl in a green irridescent blouse & black pants/shoes, fourth from the right (going left). I am the one on the far right front row kneeling down in black leather bomber & khaki pants.

Preliminary design of a house we would like to build. Class room assignment at Cypress Mandela Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program, Oakland, CA.

Ball point pen jailhouse doodles. The penitentiary drawing was done by an Arian Brotherhood member. When it comes to art “inside”, racism and prejudice goes out the window. All that matters is the art.

Piece of black Crayon used for filling out complaint forms in San Francisco’s Bryant St. main jail, CJ-1 (City Jail #1). I don’t do people well, obviously. This was a female guard who was very nice. I did this on my top bunk as she was passing by.

Crayon, No. 2 pencil and black ball point pen. An envelope and card design that I did while in jail at Santa Rita in the city of Dublin, California. These did not sell and is why I still have them.

Gold calligraphic pen and color Sharpie’s. This is a card that I presented to a former Desk Clerk at my hotel who was terminated after her boyfriend assaulted her on the job. I still have it because she was not allowed to accept any gifts from tenants. I miss her.

Crayon Glitter Glue Pens and white Sharpie Paint Pen. An Art Deco style vase I jazzed up the base on. I bought it at Goodwill.

Stadler silver chisel tip calligraphic pen, cast aluminum gold fillagree decoration from a purse, string of faux pearls, holographic label, silver Crayon Glitter Glue Pen, red Sharpie Chisel Tip permanent marker, 22 guage galvanized steel wire and gold carpet thread. This item was only shown to the intended recipient but not given.

The Gimp, Adobe Photoshop 5.5, Swift 3D. This was a design I did for a business card and stationary. Don’t remember all that I did but the final PSD file had about 70 layers.

Brown clay, green, yellow, blue and brown glaze. Fired. I made this in 1971 in Kindergarten at John Muir Elementary School in Berkeley, California. I was four years old. I actually made an anatomically correct head at the same time but it was not fired. My mom washed it and destroyed it though.

Photoshop 5.5. circular select tool, paint bucket, lighting effects, text tool utilizing digital type and gradient tool. Brightness/Contrast adjust.

Photoshop 5.5 and Swift 3D text tool utilizing Gothic font. Same tools used as on 9 ball except plastic wrap filter was used for ivory. I’ve forgotten how I did the background.

Photoshop 5.5. My attempt at remembering how to duplicate my experiments with making 3D from a 2D graphics app.

Adobe Illustrator. I really like the sophisticated look of images made by vector. I wish I had spent more time learning Illustrator.

Swift 3D, Adobe Flash and Adobe Photoshop. I had fun with this one but was always too embarrassed to show it to anyone. Just think of a circus!

Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Swift 3D. Believe it or not, the hardest part of this one was getting the lighting just right. The grapes were easy, just make one and duplicate it 30 times.

Adobe Photoshop 5.5. As you might be able to tell, I like the Crown stand up trucks very much. Lighting effects, text tool, pillow embossing and inverted as well.

Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and The Gimp. Embossing, lighting effects, text tool, plastic wrap filter, gradient, hue-constrast-brightness adjust.

Photoshop 5.5. Pretty basic, magnetic selection tool, color selection tool, masking, hue, saturation and gaussian blur on the bikini. Couldn’t get the eyes white though, didn’t mask them when I did a hue adjustment.

Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Swift 3D. Various filters and effects that I have long since forgotten. Wish I could remember the jem like thingy. I believe it can be made by applying distortions to either plastic wrap or chrome filter and then maxing out hues and saturation. Throw in some contrast too.

Acid free pre-cut mat board. Gold metallic ribbon. Lace ribbon. Cast filigree metal heart. Gold metallic pen. Dried and pressed flowers.

This is the first Native American Eagle prayer feather that I did. I gave it to a neighbor who is also Native American Indian.

Photoshop 5.5. The only image that I did’nt make was the Klingon insignia. All I did to it was change the hue and add a “plastic wrap” filter.

Photoshop 5.5 and Swift 3D. The only images not of my own making were in the Crown reach truck graphic.

Photoshop 5.5 and The Gimp. Only graphic not mine was the Terminator (I changed eye color) and part of that background, I just changed opacity.

All me. Photoshop 5.5 exclusively. I seem to have a thing for the Sun. My dream is to walk through our Sun when given my glorified body. A Black Hole too. Think God will let me?

All mine again except for the Klingon emblem. Remember AOL? I copied both designs from those CD’s they used to send out. What can I say, they had good graphic designers. Photoshop 5.5 & Swift 3D for “Bridget” only.
